One Step Beyond is a powerful tale of two Tanzanian youth leaders, Furaha and John, who adventure to a new land to explore what it means to be a leader. Filmed in Tanzania, Colorado, and Washington D.C., this is Charlie's first feature documentary project. The film was an official selection in the Zanzibar International Film Fest and nominated for the Sesmane Oumbane Award.
